I have been drinking warm lemon water for the past four years and my body responds well to it. Drinking warm lemon water flushes out any waste from my body and it gives me energy upon waking up.

Lemons are loaded with Vitamin C which strengthens the immune system. After doing research, I found that Vitamin C strengthens the bodies T-cells and helps the body to produce more immune cells.

2. Lemon Juice Balances the Body's pH

According to an article via Healthline, your body’s pH balance, also referred to as its acid-base balance, is the level of acids and bases in your blood at which your body functions best.

Adding fresh squeezed lemon juice to warm water in the morning will help to balance our pH balance.

3. Lemon Water Aids Digestion

Drinking warm or hot lemon water when you wake up may help get your digestive system moving. Ayurvedic medicine says the sour lemon taste helps stimulate your “agni.” In ayurvedic medicine, a strong agni jump-starts the digestive system, allowing you to digest food more easily and helping to prevent the buildup of toxins.

4. Lemon Water is a Diuretic

Lemon water is a natural diuretic and that simple means that it will help you to urinate and keep the bloat off.

5. Promotes Clear Skin

Drinking warm lemon water promotes clear skin by increasing the amount of collagen in your skin. The vitamin C found in lemons will help to rid your body of toxins that cause breakouts.
